Another suggestion for the boards (if you can do this) would be to limit the messages you see at the bottom when you post a new message to like the last 30 posts or so.<br><br>Dan East

Wow, look at that. You can write simplistic php code. And wow, PHP is exactly like perl. So if you said PERL is gay, what would that make PHP?

hey.. the differences in perl and php are mostly how they are executed.. in perl each user has it's own "process" on the server. which can cause a lot of load, and is probably why we see the Internal Server Error's here on the board sometimes...<br><br>In php everything is run as one "process" so that i doesn't bog down the server as much... yes.. learning php if you already know perl wouldn't be that hard, yet it would increase the speed/stability of your scripts greatly.<br><br>so.. convinced?

Hey, I always thought that PHP was better.<br>It's like the difference between old DOS Cprogramming and new Windows Programming C++. It's slightly harder but you can do a lot more and faster.
