You know, I haven't figured out how they get "kernel" from "colonel." Colonel is french isn't it? I bet the dumb americans just slurd it, you know those slow witted army types. cal-uh-nel' is how it is really pronounced, I personally think. Or atleast it should be. If I ever going into the armed services that's how I'm going to say all Colonel's possition, just out of disrespect and see if they do anything about it.

Hey, love the new format, and thanks for bringing back the "New" icon. I was haveing a problem with my avatar that when I uploaded it, and then wanted to change it, it wouldn't change. I tried deleting it, and then uploading a different image, but it reverted back to the old image. Either way, I deleted it and let it sit deleted overnight, and then tried uploading the new image, and everything worked okay. I do miss not haveing a seperate catagory for PPC Hardware and Accesroies. Oh well.

glad you got that working... we should have a fix for html in the sigs soon... we would only allow certain tags though.. like i,u,a,b,br,div,font,center ... any requests for other tags to allow?

how about p, table, tr, td, img..
but I'd actually suggest against img, p, div, and center. font may be bad too. They can use BB code for font and bold and things, then you have more control over it, like a maximum font size. And table and it's relatives could be used in poor fashion as well.

yeah... I just have div there for doing aligns.. i'll probably take it out, as there is center.. font is fine... it's just there so they don't have to learn bbcode if they know html.

I don't think i'll add table... maybe p... even though I hate p .

I just tried to change my avatar again, and it is still doing the same thing as before. I only did it as a test, as I am happy with my current image, but thought I would let you know. I'm sure that if I let my image stay deleted for a long enough period of time, it would work again, and allow me to change it. But either way, just thought I would let you know.

Also, I wanted to know if the users will be able to get back the little description of them selves under their username again instead of it just saying "pm Member"(i.e. Paul was "monkey" i believe)

Oh there it goes. Evidentally, if you are replacing an existing image, it takes it about 5 minutes or so to replace it.

Also regarding the avatars, if the image is too large (filesize-wise), it seems the BB won't give you an error message or warning. It just won't accept it.

yeah.. that's submitted in the phpBB bug DB, so it should be fixed soon... We're using a CVS version of the forums, so it's a little buggy.
