This is wonderful! What do you have planned?

There are two things I'd like to see, the ability to play the background music!!!! and the little stylus pad for moving is way too touchy. For my 3650, its the only way I can move really effectively so I wish it were a little easier to control. Oh yeah! A pop up keyboard should be in every skin so entering cheats will work without the keyboard skin.
Organic Superlube? Oh, it's great stuff, great stuff. You really have to keep an eye on it, though--it'll try and slide away from you the first chance it gets.

I am pretty new to the Doom stuff here (only tried Quake so far), but I have a question.

In the current release, landscape mode is supported (as stated on the website), but I can't find the setting anywhere!
Can somebody please help me out with this one?

EDIT: One more thing, Is there some kind of compression utility available that is supported by gfDoom? Like the compression used for FPSEce or PocketQuake.
This could sure make the game a lot smaller :).
I tried to run the HL 'mod' today, but I only got 32mb ROM free, so I can only copy over the full DOOM WAD...

Other then that, I think this is the best port out there :).

When I do this I go to landscape mode yes, but all kinds of bugs appear (plus the quality now really sux).
Isn't there a way to play in hi-res mode and in landscape mode?

EDIT: Oh wait, I am getting the same bugs in portrait mode too...
I am using the full WAD version of Ultimate Doom, is that ok?

EDIT #2: Lol! I restarted Doom, and now the bugs are gone!
I can see my gun again, and its working fine!
Never mind the bug thingie ;).

Yeah ZDoom is a great port (I prefer Doom Legacy myself!) but with the more advanced rendering engine, the frame rate would probably get hit quite bad. At the moment, it is the rendering functions that take most of the time in gfDoom.

Anyway, i've got the music to work perfectly, (No poping and crackling on my SH-3 Jornada680 HPC) and re-written the sound completely using FMOD, to get rid of the crackling in the old version.

The music uses an extra wad with the Doom/Doom2 music in the XM format, and so they are quite big (~6mb uncompressed each for all music tracks) and then they are just played through FMOD. Works a treat!

I've also added a couple of graphics options to help the framerate on slower devices, but so that the faster devices can enjoy Doom in it's full glory! :)

And what about just adding multiplayer support, not the fancy engine enhancements and stuff?
We need more multiplayer games for the pocket pc!
