its just a imaginary scripted clock =)

but there will be a script command that works like that :
you choose a variable first. and then you choose a system variable from a list (screen width,time,date,npc count etc.)

i already got a complete game team sponsored^^ custom graphics, music for a demo game as well as a complete rtp. so i dont have to worry about that one.

about the licences...well i still dont know. i could provide a selling licence for about 100-200€ or i could take 20% or so from the money the game sells for.

ah some status :

everything goes very very well at the moment. the script system is completely finished. gui is finished too. most bugs are killed.

whats left are:

-some script commandos that are necessary to create a game (change level, script timing functions (sleep) etc.).
-different variable databases (local,global,battle,menu)
-a "else" statement for script logic
-smoki2dmd implementation for the win32 version
-smoki2dmd pocketpc port and pocket pc implementation
-a scripted battle and menusystem

i think thats all.

as soon as the pocketpc version is released i will concentrate on adding new commands and features one-by-one and the completion of the JAVA Runtime wich will be sold seperately.

What about the people that only want to PLAY the games? Are we going to have to pay $15 for the engine and then turn around and pay another $20 for a game to play with it? How will that end up working?

hey,

prpgm just made another biiig step to completion.
i finished implementing my software gfx engine "s2dmd" to pocket rpg maker. the engine itself is very portable and ill try to port it to pocket pc soon.

the engine supports advanced blending, pixel manipulation, many realtime filters and image interpolation.

i use the scale2x image interpolation algorithm. it already works great on pc and i want to use it to scale the image on vga devices.

heres a small eye candy for you =)

I have been following this topic recently and it's really an interesting software which will surely hit big once realeased officially.The more screens in this topic the more i want to get the complete version :lol:

Maybe a 20% for each sale will not be a good idea since you will probably not have control over the games which would be released on the web.if you consider that a pocket pc game is really cheap and they don't sell that much,you should sell the program at quite a high price for those who are planning to sell their games.
