I never got to know Eike very well. I remember when he visited the unofficial PM IRC channel a few times though. I've also talked briefly through MSN with him a few times.
By reading PocketMatrix, I've witnessed his deep involvement in the portable community, and I have much respect for him because of that.

Rest in Peace, Eike, and my deepest condolences to his family.

I am not sure if I should attach this following image, as it may not be appreciated by one of our valued community members. However, as I am sure it was made in good fun, and should not be very hurtful to the target, I will post it anyway in memory of Eike's creativity ;)
