ha! thats a classic chris.  but maybe removable displays will come standard soon.  i might cough up a little fpor one of those.  maybe for laughs! <br><br>That beats my 1992 Macintosh- the power button fell ou of that like once a week, so we just duct taped it on.

Holy shnikes that thing is THICK!! I can stack my IBM Thinkpad T21 and another laptop together and it might still even be thinnner!<br><br>BUT...Swivel displays are great for presentations ...

It is thick... but I like it.... some people complain that it is 10 pounds.. I don't mind. After all, it is a "Desktop Replacement".

pst..... That laptop your talking about doesn't exist!.. 64mb of video ram does not exist in a laptop. Neither does 10hours. You can't fit a P4 1.5ghz chip in a laptop. I believe you on the 32GB drive..... apperantly the internal one isn't high speed though.. it's only 4500rpm. I'm waiting for the 35GB 5400rpm that dell is going to send me as a replacement. I've had so many problems with my Inspiron 7500 that they are thinking of replacing it with a Inspiron 8000... Which has:<br><br>3 Media Bays<br>(DVD Drive, 2 Batteries) or<br>(DVD Drive, CD-RW Drive, 1 Battery)<br><br>Firewire Port<br>Internal Mini-PCI Ethernet/Modem<br>P3-850<br>32mb Video Ram (ATI M-4)<br>35GB HD (5400rpm)<br>2 USB Ports<br><br>And a bunch of other neato stuff.... Hey Jack-o:<br>I messed up on the vid card part. Its only 16mb. I was thinking about my desktop,s Voodo 5500 vid card.<br>I didnt say I was upgrading processors right away. They need to make a mobile P4 first <br>(And I know you will look this sh*t up, just so you can have the last word).<br>Battery was my bad too. That is an extended battery I picked up at a local computer store.<br><br>PS-Dont expect to use 3 things in your MM  Bay unless you jury-rig something. The Inspiron 8000 only has 2 slots.
