ClimbWalls Software has just release Xassar's Quest.

Xassar’s Quest is an RPG game packed with a huge amount of features. What is unique about this game, is the implementation of rules from the Open Gaming System, used as a base for probably the worlds most popular role-playing games. We have also included some original rule enhancements to create the best possible game.

Xassar (pronounced ksay'-zar) is a monk on a journey to developing his martial art powers. Every aspect and ability of a monk has been included all the way to level 20, and a few beyond! The monsters have also been brought to life directly from these rules. Almost every abilities of each monster has been accounted for! With this epic tale, you are bound to enjoy hours of challenging fun and surprise!

There are so many features, it would be almost impossible to list them all. Here are just a few:

General:

-Full story-based RPG adventure where your words can effect the game as much as your fists.
-Rogue-style game play BUT on growth hormones!!
-True Pen and Paper fighting emulation.
-Beautiful original music scores, sound effects and art.
-Fog of War lighting
-Traps
-Quests
-Varying map sizes
-Scrolling
-Unlimited Saving and Loading
-Playable on Pocket PC AND PC!
-User adjustable graphic and sound setting to allow for faster play.

Hardcore RPG players should really give this game a try. If you're into the lighter realm (ie: games like Arvale) you might not enjoy it as much, because it's quite challenging. However, it's a fun game and a rather unique experience amongst PocketPC RPG games. I will be posting a full length review at http://www.myworldofhandhelds.com/ once I've had a chance to play it some more. You can download a demo that lets you play through the first three levels, so there's no reason not to give it a try.
