Acually i have a question will i be able to play  the original wolf with this release or only spear of destiney?

Right now, it will just be spearof destiny.  But I'm still trying to figure out the difference between spear of destiny and pocket wolf....  Anyone wanna clear that up?

Spear of destiny is the second game in the wolfienstien series like doom 2 is to doom. I think there were acually 3 or 4 wolf games.

There was the shareware wolfenstein3D (the demo), the full registered version of wolf (the main game we are talking about), the shareware of spear of destiny, and the full version of spear of destiny, which is the same as wolf engine just all new characters and levels  so it was a sequel. Then there were three add on packs for spear which were just new levels.<br>

So i was correct as doom is to doom2. Same engine diffrent game. Man that kind of sucks i have the original wolf and i use to have the spear disks but someone ganked them from me. I hope i can 'aquirre' spear since i cant just run down to software etc and buy it.

Its only gunna run the spear demo, as far as I know so you dont need the full spear game.<br>

Well that kind of sucks why the demo only? O well is it easy to find the demo? Hey dan how hard will it be to take your source and make it run other sods? It should be fairly simple right? Not even any graphics work?

I think he might do wolf later on, so actually right now its PocketSpear, not PocketWolf. Also until he has the full version of WOLFENSTEIN running I dont think user made levels will work. There is a slight chance you could make levels for the Spear demo but I dont know for sure as I havent tried to edit spear since 1992, and to this day only edit for wolf.

the thign is that there is a different executable for each version, an exe for regged and sharewared or spear and wolf, meaning 4 different exes, plus 3 platforms, so 3x4= 12 different versions.  So, lets just worry about the spear demo for now, once he gets htat working, it shouldnt take long to fix up the other versions.
