Zak256 - Cant scroll thru inventory items

Hello. i've just installed scumm for pocket pc and i'm having trouble with zak
I cant scroll so i seached and found it is a problem with the toolbar and i have to map a button/key to hide it..
What button? just any key on the mini keyboard because i've tried them all with no luck. i've also tried the buttons on my jornada?
nothing happens however, i do have to click cancel to get back into the game.

You should be able to map any key (in options/key) to this function - however I have not tested it on an HPC ... which version are you using ?

damn... must be something wrong with the game?? i believe there should be a zak.exp file. i don't actually have this one but zak works fine on pc. The ScummVM Release version is: 0.5.1 for both pc and hpc

ok i doubt it's the game... when i go into options/keys the
4. Hide option is highlighted green.

i cant click on anything else (apart from ok, cancel and scrolling up & down the commands list)

Go to the game-menu, go to options press "keys",
search on the right side for the function to map (hide), tap on the function, it should be highlighted now, press "map", the highlighted item should have now only a green border, press the key on Your keyboard You like, the text "associated key" should change now, press OK and that's all.
On the Jornada 680 You can't map the quickstart-keys (directly below the display), only the "normal" keys...
The ma function works fine on my Jornada 680 in all games (in Zak256 too)

sorry... ignore those last two posts. I'll try again
When i run the game, the very first time i go into options/keys is says "Choose an action to map"
Then when i click on hide it will show "Associated key : Not mapped" under that. Then i click "Map"
"Choose an action to map" is then replaced with "Press the key to associate"

At this time, none of the buttons/keys at the bottom of the sreen can be selected. so i can only click Ok or Cancel. Even if i click cancel and go back into "keys" the hide will still be highlighted green with the message on the bottom saying "press the key to associate" meaning i can still only click ok and cancel!!

Thanks mate, just put on GAPI 1.2. haven't noticed too much of a difference but it has fixed a couple of little bugs with the display.
