Problems running Day of the Tentacle on P800

Hello all. I hope this is the right forum to post this question..
I’ve been using ScummVM for quite some time now. Recently I decided to try the Sony Ericsson P800 version. It runs fine and I was able to play Monkey Island 1 and Loom with no problems. However, when I install Day of the Tentacle, after the intro is over no matter what I try to do (pick up or open something) Bernard says “I can’t reach that from here”. It goes beyond saying that the exact same files work fine on the PC version of ScummVM. Is there anything I can do?
