at the moment SCUMMVM doesnt have much suppoort for the newe r range of VGA pcioket pc's...
i just got a hx4700 and i wanna be ble to play SCUMMVM in full 640x480 resolution mode with nice colours and what not...

Hi!

Of cause I build a version, and it works (nearly) perfect, only a minor issue occured. It happens of cause only on VGA PocketPCs ... ( )

In case the gfx_mode is set to 2x (or advmame2x or dotmatrix, but not 1x) in the [scummvm] section of the ini-File the PocketScumm crashes if one "clicks" in the upper right part of the screen. It happens in the GUI Dialogs (Games List, Option Screen ...) and in QVGA Games, only VGA Games are ok.

I'm not sure why this happens. Using landscape=true but gfx_mode=1x looks the same, but works.

I tried to use the debugger and found out, that the crash occurs in updateLine() in SDL_gapivideo.c. Maybe it has something to do with the values of srcPointer or destPointer, but thats just a guess.

BTW: The PocketPC Emulator has no problem, but it offers only a QVGA Screen and therfore only a 1x scaler.
