CMI Support?

CMI Support?

Postby Michael Y » Mar 10, 2002 @ 4:05am

Is there a possibility of getting support for Curse of Monkey Island? I know it's pushing it a bit, but that is possibly my favorite game of all time, and a man can dream, can't he?

Hi,

I checked the SCUMMVM site, and theres a new release that states that some basic emulation has been started on CMI, so does that mean we might see CMI popping up on our lil gadgets in the near future???

Jazz,

Out of curiousity, is this going to be merged into 0.4.0 for the Pocket PC?

Oh yeah, it's been so long since I used PocketScumm, I forgot about the Skip Icon. :)

I noticed that sometimes the Skip Icon gets drawn over.

The Amigo has a 16-bit display, 206MHz StrongArm and uses GAPI.

How much memory does COMI need to run? It seems like COMI is stalling due to a memory leak or something similar.

I think the Video Support isn't even that crash hot in ScummVM for Windows.

The other thing is since COMI runs at 640x480 and I assume you're scaling it down by 2, you're cutting off the buttom 80 (40 scaled) pixels for the toolbar. Perhaps a hotkey to turn on/off the toolbar is needed?

it already exists  look for the "Hide" button in the key mappings dialog

I think the mixing mechanism for digital Imuse games (Full Throttle, The Dig, COMI) is pretty costly (CPU + memory) - I haven't done precise checks on the videos but saw it go to almost 20 Mbs with Full Throttle already
