Try to use your wave on the blit sample (rewrite for example chicken.wav with the wave that cause the problem), rebuild the sample and run it on your pda and let me know what happen.

If even the blit sample crash send the wave file at gersen.new@libero.it, I'll try to check why my sound engine don't like it :)
