what's the general concept? Most games use their own files for data storage & you will find discussion about reading delimited items etc but I have not seen access in discussion.

Will you be reading & writing only at set times or throughout gameplay.
What is Best in Life ?

The only time I've used Access is for web page queries using asp scripts on win2k machines. It works great, but that's because I needed to run queries.

So, if you could do that on the pocketPc, what would be the benefit? Would you run a query to get data to use for rendering?

The only game specific reson I could see to use Access would be to keep stats for all the players/monsters in an RPG...
