tutorial update??

i have a few questions..

1.when will conan update his tutorial for the latest version of pf??? i have read his present tutorial and i think it is really great for beginners like me...

2.i was also wondering if when will pocketfrog support EVC++ 4 and pocketpc 2003??

3. and last is there a documentation for pf like the one for gapidraw??? where can i download it??

hope someone could help... thanks....

My next tutotial which is about Hekkus sound system is actually 95% written but I need to update my sample code before adding it in as it was written before the function calls in Hekkus changed their names so it's a bit confusing to a beginner.

I can't say when because I'm really busy but I will get it done.

If anyone else would like to contribute PocketFrog or HAL tutorials I would be happy to add them to my tutorials page with full credit to the author.

It does support 2003 with ecv4. You just need to compile everything with evc4 as far as I know.

There used to be some documentation that was made with some sort of code tool, but I don't know where it went.

hmm... im having poblem with running the samples that come with the latest version of pf on evc4... i am not able to choose the pocketpc 2003 emulator for the samples...

i hope you could update soon conan i really like your guide... and also about the program that you have recommended called tile studio... i seem lost on how to generate the code for visual c++ or evc4... could you help...

There is no need to use GetKeyList anymore... Just use m_keys (i.e. m_keys.vkA, etc.), it's defined in PF.

I've had trouble adding a target platform in evc4 to an existing project that was saved by evc3. You could try creating a new project...

I worked on my new Hekkus tutorial yesterday and added some bits. I now just need to tidy it up and publish so it will be available next week at the latest. Basically it's a beginner's guide to using Hekkus with PocketFrog.

I prefer GameDev.net, not only for game AI - this resource contains a lot of examples for all the phases of game creation process.

I'm a great fan of gamedev.net but apart from a few old articles about PocketPC there's nothing platform specific.
What is Best in Life ?

For PocketPC games this is by fasr the best site that exists (ie: PocketMatrix) however it does not have the articles setup like gamedev. Perhaps there should be a section for these. Many people like myself have articles but some come & go and their websites go down so the work is no longer available

I will get it up in a couple of days. I just need to check the links and downloads but I have lots of other stuff as well. The Hekkus demo code on Gersen's site is a good start btw

All my tutorials are for eVC3++ and VC6.

Does eVC4 build & run for WM only? Is it being used by many people?

Anyway the Hekkus stuff should be ok for eVC4
