Want to test a new PocketPC toy?

Want to test a new PocketPC toy?

Folks,

I've just done an "alpha 2" version of a new PocketPC app. It's based on PocketHAL. Unusually it runs PocketHAL in a child window. That's been discussed before on this form and it seems to work, but as it's not a very common configuration I would like a bit of reassurance that it works on all the common platforms.

The program itself is rather hard to explain. Think of it as a kind-of alternative to good 'ol Solitaire.

I am particularly keen to know if it runs OK on the original PocketPC 2000 and the new VGA devices.

There is also a Windows version if you like the concept.

Anyway, you can get the files from here:

Let me know you you get on.

It ran fine on my Toshiba e800 (WM2002) in VGA mode ('forced' VGA mode with the MyVGA patch).

It only filled the top left quarter of the screen but it ran at a reasonable speed.

Looked nice enough but couldn't quite figure out what I was meant to be doing!

Worked fine on an x30...

A question, though... what is the reason for having a child window when the app is full screen with it's own dialog elements?
