Documentation

Postby BradK3 » Sep 10, 2005 @ 9:31pm

Until just a few months ago, I was a dedicated GapiDraw user. However, when I started a project that I actually wanted to sell, I realized that I would have to learn PocketFrog. The GapiDraw royalties are a wee bit out of my price range, although Thierry can expect a donation from me.

I *love* PocketFrog, but the one thing I've missed is the well-layed out documentation that GapiDraw has. Reading through this forum, I've noticed that this is a common request. Rather than gripe about it, I decided to compile my own documentation. It's quite rough, incomplete. It needs a lot in the way of corrections, improvement, reorganization, but it has been very useful for me in learning PocketFrog and I hope it will be useful to others.

The documentation is currently hosted on GeoCities ('cause I'm a cheapskate) at . However, if Conan or Thierry think it worth posting on their sites, I would be much obliged.

Please, please, PLEASE feel free to give me feedback and corrections. There are many places in the documentation (marked with '???') where I need more information and I'm sure there is plenty in there that is incomplete, wrong or unclear. I'm not a web designer, so layout suggestions are also welcome. Everyone's help is greatly appreciated!

*Ahem* Yes. I suppose having working links would be an improvement. Thank you both...

Did I mention that I'm a beginner with this webpage stuff?

I've fixed the links, but the homepage isn't updating for some reason, but the following link should work:

http://www.geocities.com/b_kartchner/index.html

Thanks again

Hey Brad,

I just perused through the pages and think it looks pretty good. Nicely done. :)
