Skype with GapiDraw Developers - 24/7 support for free!

Hello everyone!

Having been knee-deep in the NGage 2 for a while I now have VS2008 Pro running on my laptop and am getting nicely up to speed with the coding.

I want to get in touch with you guys here on the forum, so I figured that the best way to do so if you all add me to your list of Skype friends! That way I'll be able to give you 24/7 support through instant messaging, and you can help out improving GapiDraw as well.

At first I will restrict this to paying customers to see how it works out. If I get too few contacts and issues I'll just open it up to anyone interested in GapiDraw.

So, if you own a GapiDraw license just send me your Skype ID to either sales@develant.com or paste it at http://www.gapidraw.com/contact.php and I'll add you to my contact list!

I hope this will be a good soluton for providing instant help to any issues you might be experiencing, without having to wait for email turnarounds.

Cheers
Johan

Finally we hear from you, Johan.

I understand that you are busy to visit this forum, but why we don't get any support when we send you emails?

and even worse...

Why did you delete that long thread called 'No support from Develant'? Is that because you don't want potential customers to see how is your support?

Staryon:

Sorry but your comments do not make much sense to me. I need some clarifications:

1. Are you a paying customer? As far as I can tell you first posted in November 2006 that you were "planning on using GapiDraw", and in October 2007 you posted that you still are thinking of purchasing a license. Let's get this straightened out right away please. Have you bought a license? If you have not then I don't really see the problem. You are asking, no in fact you are demanding and posting numerous threads that pollutes the forum about something you want to have but you have not paid anything for. Other forum users cannot tell that you are not a licensed customer. They don't know anything about the way we try our best to help paying customers resolve any issues they have. So I will continue to argue that your comments about keeping your "no-support" threads in the forum makes no sense to me.

2. Did you contact me using our contact form at www.gapidraw.com. When?! We have answered every single support request sent to us since January this year. Before then every mail sent to us relating to a developer issue was taken care of right away if it was a paying customer contacting me. You and SFranchi, the two main posters of the thread you mentioned, none of you own a license as far as I can tell. Yet bot of you complained a lot about lack of support in the forum.

3. We have not received any critical issue requests since December when SFranchi contacted me about an issue he had on an unsupported hardware platform, which we resolved free of charge in early January. Sandro was not even a customer, but a potential customer. In the end he did not buy a license and stopped developing mobile software altogether, and the hours we spent helping him out was for nothing.

So. Can you please continue by giving me the following information:

4. What is your name?
5. Do you own a license?
6. When was the last time you contacted me through email? Did you use the support form at www.gapidraw.com?
7. What was your reason for contact development support?
8. Is there anything preventing you from installing Skype? Comments such as "I don't use Skype" makes no sense to me really if it's an easy way to get instant support for your product.

The reason we use Skype is because it can bookmark chats, and really works remarkably well for keeping track of support threads. Also, as a side note I was also the Project Leader for the Windows Mobile version of Skype, which makes it at least for me even more appropriate of using it for support issues. I kind of know it inside and out you might say. ;-)

Again. We focus support to our paying customers that have development issues related to GapiDraw 3.6. Can you please help me out by answering the above questions so I know you are indeed a paying customer experiencing a real issue here. If this is the case I will make sure it does not happen again.

Cheers
Johan
