The game should be fine on any speed. We have speed control in the game.

Some new things in this version:
* Much better map shading
* Custom maps can have a height texture which will make maps look even more awesome
* Better ship shadows
* FINALLY (we hope) nuked the game-hangs-after-tutorial bug.
* Various other fixes.

As you can see there isn't much new gameplay changes, mostly since it is me who have been doing the changes, and I'm the gfx man.

We also have a bunch of really cool maps made (nine of them) which we havn't made any missions out of yet. What would you recommend:

1) Release the maps here on the forum and let people do what they want with it
2) Create some missions out of these maps and release (for free). Will mean slight delay of the release of the maps, but the missions will be cool and probably released one every week over a period of 9 weeks.

Here is a part cut out from one of the maps, showing the new landscape rendering thingie with a height texture applied. Nice, eh?
