How about adding in a variable Gamma correction box? so that we can select a custom correction value. Or maybe a few intermediatory gamma values instead of just low & high (which are both wonderful). I really did think the FPS ticker was a good idea, i can see that with lots of units the FPS can get to as low at 8FPS when in battle with the enemy, to be honest this really isn't that bad. Good job javier. Btw i have also noticed how some units "sit" on top of each other, so infact it looks like you have one unit, when you could have a few "sitting" on each other.

You downloaded fast hiren, that FPS counter isn't working at all as you may see. That version you have was online for about 10 minutes and then replaced with a corrected build with no FPS.

It CAN be installed in a CF card with no problems. If you can't then it's something with activesync or your device. If you have problems you should install to main memory and then copy everything to the storage card.

Alternate DL Site?

Postby JS » May 2, 2002 @ 3:51am

I have been trying for the past 30 minutes to actually dl the latest demo - with little luck. I have a cable connection & the link is just not working (overloaded I presume?).

Anyway, I am now dl at 522 bytes/sec............3% after quite awhile & a long way to go.

Thanks,
JS

MIRRORS

Postby omac the destroyer » May 2, 2002 @ 9:33am

343 bytes/sec

This game has been delayed and delayed and delayed. Don't let a messed up server or inadaquate bandwidth screw it any further. Yes I want to try the game but spend some time figuring out why people can't download it.

Put some mirrors up please.......

Excellent

Postby rpm6000 » May 2, 2002 @ 1:24pm

I had trouble with the original build, but this one is works like a dream.

I will echo the fact that units either don't seem to be able to position them selves close enough together or the other extreem is sitting on top of each other, leaving you thinking 'where did all the units I built go?'

My point is, it would be nice to have them bunch up closer together, but not over lap. Anyway I hate nit picking, the game is fantastic and I'll definately be putting my hands in my pockets when it's released!

Well done!
