Who will make the first map?

So, who will make the first custom map for Argentum? Has anyone started yet?

Oh, some help along the way: AgMapGen doesn't support path's with spaces in them.

ArgMap has some strange thingies, but there is a new version coming from the amazing hands of ESW (on this board)

Problem fixed. One semi bug, the map generator seem to go awry with folders using spaces in the filenames, but the sample file provided seems to use the long filenames just fine, unless that was called manually from the command line.

I'm going to be working on some real maps now, besides a bland skirmish map. Assassination, sieges, is some of the stuff I have in mind.

BTW, I could finally see the lighting effects used ingame from this map, going on the dark side of a mountain makes your units darker, along with the terrain. Amazing job, I never noticed it till now.

Can't log into the Argy website, I get constant server busy messages, though I guess there isn't much that can be done about this.

I just played your map. The map itself is very beautiful, only the AI and enemy is very weak. It took me 3 minutes and 3 planes to finish it off.

I had even time to set up a whole base with radar and so on and the enemy still only had few ITABs without any force..

Generally speaking I like that map but I suggest you add some keys/troops for the enemy. Maybe you set a key if a player build several units, you set up an attack/defense ?

Yes, the new version should fix that. Little did I know (but now I do, thanks to malmer) that the enemy doesn't build new buildings, he will only rebuild. I thought it was easy too, but I have a slight affinity skillswise to RTS games too.
