HPC 2000 support?

HPC 2000 support?

Postby Fishd » Jul 4, 2001 @ 12:33pm

Man, I'm starting to sound like a stuck record... every site I go to and see cool software I leave this little trail of "Hey, cool program / game / whatever, how about support for the Jornada 720 HPC2000 ?"

This is usually followed by me posting "Microsoft have just released their SDK and BitBank have also release a GAPI solution for the HPC2000 too!"

And finally this is replied to usually with "Sod off, your HPC sucks. Go out and buy a PocketPC you tight-ass"...

Wonder how it will go this time? :)

But actually, i would have gotten an HPC if it weren't for the lack of software. They are much better devices then PPCs. I really wish more games would be released for them. But no programmers have HPCs to debug on, so unless you find one we're out of luck.

And I recently had the chance to play around with a Jornada 720... great machine from what I could tell. If people start releasing more software (especially games!) for it, I'd buy one in an instant.

-Mike http://www.pocketgamer.org
Hey Carp,

Wouldn't selling such a niche title across more platforms be a good idea anyway?

Just think, you could define keyboard shortcuts for all the commands! Every War/Star-Crafter knows how important shortcuts are...

Last modification: 999 - 07/04/01 at 13:27:59
