No, updates are free, of course. If a developer didn't provide free fixes for the problems he or she introduced to begin with, well then there'd be a massive riot.

Oh wait... that happened that one time, not too long ago :P

Log in to the place where you purchased the game (monkeystone, handango or pocketgear) and just download the latest version from there.

Cant you just make an update? So I dont have to buy it again. I cant log in and download the new version. I dont know which site i downloaded it from.

The chances are that it was either or . With either site, you can gain access to all your previous orders as long as you know your email address (and credit card number in Handango's case).

Whichever site you did buy it from, you would have received an email with all these details, so it might be worth having a look through your old emails. The problem is that unless you can provide proof that you actually purchased the game, there's no reason why you should be entitled to updates - a reasonable stance, I'm sure you would agree.

On a separate note, although it would technically be possible to provide standalone update files, it wouldn't be practical. You have to remember that Ionside is not a massive company with unlimited resources - providing a separate patch for each new version rather than just uploading a newer version would cost them extra time and money which could be better spent on making an already awesome game even better.
