Most of these suggestions sound great. The alien abduction thing sounds like a "must-add" disaster. The only thing I can ask for is a "sandbox" mode that would allow you to buidl whatever you'd like without the restrictions of money or stars. Its just nice to do as you please sometimes.
Organic Superlube? Oh, it's great stuff, great stuff. You really have to keep an eye on it, though--it'll try and slide away from you the first chance it gets.

caesar_54: I understand your concern. We got several requests from people who just wanted to "look" at their tower and watch those Virts moving around all the time. I don't know but I think it gave them like some kind of therapy similar to watching fishes swim in an aquarium. :)

But anyway, if we did your suggestion, it would defeat the purpose of having to go through the 5 stars and unlocking "new" units as you move on, doesn't it? I hope you can shed some light on this more. :) I'm really interested to hear more about your idea of a "sandbox" mode as I've read them from pocketgamer too. If you like, you can drop me an email at erick@esoftinteractive.com personally so we can talk about it more. Thanks!

Too easy

Postby goonzo » Sep 30, 2003 @ 3:01pm

Its a great game, but tends to get booring very quickly.
its too easy to get to 5 stars.. and after that? i earn money faster than I can spend it..
there must be som challange after you reach 5 stars, otherwise you stop playing. even more disasters and units to build perhaps?
maybe ive missed it but i havent read about such plans for upcoming updates?

The "sandbox" mode I was thinking about was something along the lines of the "sandbox" mode from Sid Meier's SimGolf, if anyones played it. Basicly your given free reign over everything without the restriction of money. So you can basicly build whatever you want. This would make things be more fun when you just want to kill time and have some quick fun but don't wanna actually think. But as some people have said it might kill the whole purpose of the game. I liked sponge's idea of unlocking the sandbox mode after you have five stars. I'll send you an e-mail with some more details.
