I'll be honest here; I had copied the game from a friend to try it out, and my wife fell in love with it. I tried it out and fell in love with it as well, so I thought I'll be a nice guy and purchase it and try the upgrade. Once I saw the new version, I knew I would be in the dog house.
The previous version had a charm to it. This one looks like you ran it through Windows XP. Half the fun of the game was the sayings by the characters.
My wife loved the Crystal Cavin's "Let's go", and the "Oh No" at the end.
I think the developers really missed the boat on this new version. I will be uninstalling the new version, and re-install the old.
I paid my 9.99 becuase the old game was worth it, but I wouldn't buy the new version.
The only benefit I've seen is the ease of changing usernames, other than that, put the game back the way it was.


Also the upgrade blew out our high scores. My wife was very upset to see her 59,000 high score on crystal cave in was gone.
