0.2 delayed for a couple days! :(

0.2 delayed for a couple days! :(

Postby kornalius » Apr 30, 2004 @ 11:10pm

Sorry to announce that beta 0.2 will be out next week (even if it's ready to go). Our internet at work hasn't been working for 2 days now. I have to post from home. I cannot read my emails, sorry for those who sent emails, I will reply as soon as our internet is back.

But in the meantime I was able to finish the PIDE and to create a nice Windows Help file from the documentation we had previously. It is accessible from the PIDE.

I will get on perfecting 0.2 until it's release.

Anyway, seem pretty boring in PM in the past few days. Where is everyone? :)

That's too bad, but we're patient :) Looking forward to the PIDE.

I am very exited about the PIDE at this point. I am planning on integrating a visual debugger in it for a later release. The PIDE does make a huge difference in editing and testing PPL source code.

Here some news guys,

The internet should come back tomorrow or wednesday at the latest, Bell is going to put the line back in service  . I have not wasted my time, I have made the PIDE a better tool 8) by adding multiple documents support and a working visual debugger. At this point it not real fast but tomorrow I am going to optimize it and make sure everything is alright. Tracing variables will probably make its way into the next release if I can delay it for another day or so .

I will put a more recent shot of the PIDE on the official site as soon as internet comes back at work.
