PPL beta version 0.7 is now available for download. The compiler and the interpreter have been rewritten from scratch and now offer better speed and better stability. With the new interpreter, PPL, is now more portable than ever.
In version 0.7, you can now generate .EXE's from a .ppl or .ppc file from the PIDE or the Main.ppl program.
The file open and file save dialogs have been replaced by a better version.
Error handling is now better and every error is catched by the interpreter.
It is now possible to call a procedure using a string parameter. Ex: Call("ProcedureName", 10, 20, 30);
Here is a list of some of the new features in v0.7:
- New procedure list dialog box in the PIDE.
- Ability to view the generated source code of a form.
- Faster and more stable compiler and interpreter.
- Better internal memory management.
- Better error handling system.
- Creation of .exe files.
