0.7a list of fixes so far.

Postby kornalius » Jul 28, 2004 @ 8:07pm

Hi,

Yep, 0.7 is just out and I am already preparing to release 0.7a. It will be out this Friday.

Here is a list of fixes I have done so far:

- PIDE: Procedure search window is now non-modal and has a list of user entries.
- Fixed broken .ppc loader and .exe loader.

I will update this thread until the release.

Regards,

PPL 0.7 - problem with PPL on PocketPC

Postby mervjoyce » Jul 29, 2004 @ 5:25am

Kornalius,

Having installed 0.7 I can run the PIDE and compile and test run programs OK (except for problem as above).

However, if I go to my PocketPC and select "PPL" from the program screen then it runs OK for the first time. I then select File/Exit (even without doing anything in PPL). The next time I select "PPL" from the program screen I get an ERROR dialog:

(main.ppl) [Syntax error at 'FINDWINDOWW' (0,0)]

plus several dozen more similar messages in the same dialog box.

A "soft reset" to the PocketPC results in the same ERROR Dialog next time I select "PPL" from the program screen.

I did an uninstall (including deleting both directories) and re-installed. First time OK but then the same problem.

Is this a "local" problem or are others having a similar experience

regards

Hi Erik,

I tried deleting all the "PPC" files in the PPL directory and I can get PPL to run again OK.

Next I thought I would try running the benchmark under 0.7 as a comparison. From the PPL menu I chose File/Run and selected "benchmark.pp" from the |My Documents\PPL directory. This generates an ERROR dialog:

(Benchmark.ppl) [Syntax error at '\MY' (2,1)]
