Can we test apps on the desktop with this yet?

Definitely. It works and much faster too! Just select Target -> Intel PC in the PIDE and set your target paths correctly and you can run your PPL code on the PC.

Btw, all PPL programs that have been distributed with the PocketPC version works under PC too.

In your install path of the PIDE, you will find a PPL directory and you can run PPL.EXE from there and see for yourself!

Did the COM functionality change any in this latest pre-release? The ADO sample I've been working on has suddenly gone "funky". I get "file not found" errors on a database that I know the ADO component has already opened, string values from records are coming back bogus, the world has gone nuts

Show me the piece of codes that don't work anymore. I will do some testing. I haven't tested COM in a little while.

I will send you something in a little bit. I'm doing some more testing, because it looks like some of the problem could lie with lists, and not COM. I'll get back to you in a bit.

Okay, I guess the next question is, how has string handling in lists changed? Attached is a simple program that populates a list and then writes the list out to the console. The list elements containing strings are coming up blank. I think this is causing some of my problems.

- Fixed lists system. Was really broken. Yurk!
- Little fix in the PIDE
- Updated Visual Form Builder PPC.
- Update main.ppl to call Visual Form Builder.
- New empty() function to empty content of a variable including list elements.
