You're quite right Digby. Just got this today in the "Microsoft Mobile Device News", although I don't know how long its actually been available:

DEVELOP GAMES WITH NEW MICROSOFT DIRECTPLAY FOR THE POCKET PC
The Microsoft DirectPlay® beta for the Pocket PC is now available. DirectPlay, a subcomponent of Microsoft DirectX®, allows developers to provide multi-player capability without worrying about the complexities of the specific transport media. Enter the user name DPlayPPC and password DPlayPPC to access the Microsoft Beta Web site.
http://www.betaplace.com

Dan East

Another BB bug: it appears a [ /b ] immediately after a url causes to become part of the url's address.Last modification: Dan East - 12/12/01 at 10:38:32

I received it as well. Seems to be focused on communications between devices based on the survey contents.
