Sorry... My bad (duh). I thought you said Doom. Hehe. he. he. yeah. Ummm... Duke3d... Cool. Someone do it. I like it. BTW, Duke3d seems to use a more advanced pseudo-3d engine because it can do diagonal and other slanted sprites (fake polygons). I think. Yeah, it does. Shadow Warrior uses "Build" (Duke3d engine), doesn't it? Yeah, it does. Or does it? Well?

Actually, I sent an e-mail to the guy who runs oke-e-doke software, another Doom-engine port (this time Heretic and Hexen, mmmmm) and still haven't heard back from him. What is it with these guys? Does the Doom engine license include some sort of "non-disclosure because you're stupid or possibly even imaginary" agreement? I need a new project over the Christmas break, and I was hoping to do a quick port. Oh well.

Sure, I'll have a look at it. But, my top priority right now goes to the quote under my name, and maybe the wolf port. ;)

They had a custom graphics library in there. Frankly, that's fine by me, as A) their library sucked, and B) that means that adding landscape is a hell of a lot easier. It's probably just possible to port PQ's video over.

Ha, 3rd party api, is that it. I've had hundreds of parties, and every one of them had astro-pie images (api). What, did they have pictures of it in there or something?

P.S. Please disregaurd the lack of sence that the previouse few lines made.

Now, when they say that they are removing their api, are they just deleting all of the code that refrinces it, or are they turning all of the api functions into dummy calls? i.e.

void DrawScreen (SCREENPARAM screen)
{
}
