Ya but then you could use it in word and other stuff. The mfc book you menntion if i read it will i know how to create apps in mfc and use ado and activex when im done reading it? Also how helpfull would it be to convert that knowlege to eVC

Its really mainly about MFC, which works fine on desktop and ppc. It also covers COM and ActiveX. Doesnt seem to cover ADO, not heard of that myself actually :)<br>

O ado is active data objects, ms's solution to connecting and working with many types of databases
