I'm trying to make a clone of the well-known DOS-Tracker FT2.

It's completely platform-independent, there's only a small layer between the OS and the GUI/Event-Framework which is totally written from scratch.
Right now it runs under Win32 and OSX and later i will use PHAL to make a PocketPC port.

xPeterx, that is one of the cooler things I've seen in a long time! As much as I personally find MOD tracking annoying and tedious, this is still sweet! I very much look forward to seeing this, especially the PPC port.
...and so I said to Mr. Gates: "$640 billion should be enough for anyone!"

Just thought I would show the first screenshots of Europa Universalis II for mobile devices. These are from the build for the VGA Pocket PC. The shots are taken off the desktop with a nearly full conversion to GapiDraw (there are still a few bits and pieces of DX that haven't been changed yet). All shots are at 640x480. The user interface is under heavy modification, and has been turned off for the most part to take these shots. The game map display will be at fullscreen with an interface overlay when the user desires it. The Palm/Zodiac and Nintendo DS versions are under development as well. Enjoy the screenies!

Wow, hard to follow those screenshots! Looking good ppcStudios. How's it look 240x320?

Ive been working mainly on 2.0 of All-In Hold 'Em right now. A big update, with tons of surprises in store. The Screenshot only shows a small part of what's coming.

I'm Tossing around some other game ideas once this is completed. Still have a ways to go to get it where I want it...

I'm currently drawing endless background tiles for buggys to drive around on for Nova Dawn.

The water is going to be pallete cycled as a cheap way to make it look a bit more fluid.

One of the nice things about developing as a hobby is being able to switch between doing art and coding as you like.

Wow, Europa Universalis for PPC, great job! Though I don't like the game much, It's still very impressive.

Don't you want to port Heroes of might and magic next? ;).

currently working (ppc-wise) on a gdi+ wrapper wich uses
cutted textures to decrase accessing time. just offscreen drawing is missing at the moment. this way is so much faster than normal gdi+ class (rendering 300 tiles from a BIG tileset in gdi+ is about 1-2 fps, using the wrapper its about 50-60 fps(400mhz))

once the offscreen drawing is finished ill continue working on pocket rpg maker.

not working offscreen drawing
