Cutting EDGE Coding Competition 2006

Dear developers,

Clickgamer Ltd announces the Cutting EDGE Coding Competition 2006. Game studios and individuals all around the world are invited to participate in this unique mobile game coding competition. Contestants are expected to create a game of any genre using the EDGE SDK in a period of six months. Games created with the free downloadable evaluation and commercial version of the EDGE SDK are both accepted.

The competition starts December 7th, 2005 and ends June 7th, 2006. The winning submission will be selected in June 2006 by a team of independent judges. The best game, in terms of originality, multi-platform awareness and playability wins the competition.

The grand prize of the winning submission consists of:
- A developer edition Gizmondo unit
- A two year commercial EDGE license
- $5,000 worth of free advertising at Clickgamer.com for their game

The EDGE SDK, with current version 2.10, supports the development of mobile applications and games for Windows Mobile Pocket PC, Windows Mobile Smartphone, Symbian Series 60, Series 80, Series 90, Symbian UIQ and Windows desktop.
