Odd hardware?

I think that with my games, I had a little strangeness with the buttons when running un-throttled. I am using pocketfrog/phal.

After adding a sleep() to control the framerate, the buttons seemed to work with more response. I never went further than that to try to figure out why, but it seemed that the system wasn't processing the button events immediately without the sleeping.

I've tried the demo and while it's very good I think the biggest problem and one of the reasons the pocket pc scene isn't what it was is that you're competing with the Nintendo DS and PSP now.

Previously if I'd shown someone a game on my ppc they would have been really impressed, but compare the games on a ppc to those on my PSP and there's no comparison, the PSP blows it away. I think we'd all agree that the ppc is certainly capable of getting to those levels, but publishers aren't interested when the ppc isn't as mainstream.

As to your game, first I wasn't that comfortable with the control system, but I switched to the direct method and prefered that, I liked the fact you have the option, the only complaint I have is that you say that scrolling is a new feature and yet it's only limited, I think it would be much better if the whole level was continuous.

Anyways, just my 2pennies worth...
