linking to cab files
Posted: Sep 24, 2007 @ 2:55pmWhen a user from their PPC clicks on a CAB link it opens it in text mode and shows it in the IE browser, how can I modify my webserver so that it opens the 'save this cab file' dialog? The webserver is Linux/FreeBSD.
I am pretty sure it is a webserver issue as when I host the file on my Windows IIS webserver the file opens properly. Is this a MIME configuration type problem?
