Man, my aunt is a "brit", and she cooks up some funky-ass food. I've eaten all kinds of stuff from all over the world, but English cuisine is something else entirely. (BTW, Med-food is the best :) )

Goose:

Well, their "fryup" consisted of a block of butter (this is your base ingredient), eggs and two slices of bread (the thicker the better).

Basically, they put the butter in a pan, then followed it up with an egg or two and cooked 'em up. Once done, remove the eggs, and put the bread in the pan to sop up all that "juice". Then you take those bits of bread, slap the eggs in between like a sandwich, and there you have Sir D. Hodgeson's own "Fryup".

If you fancy blowing up your heart, this'd be the dietary supplement to help get ya there.
Sounds good. Like those french toast sandwiches they serve at Bennigan's. They make a nice sandwich, the fry it in eggs, and cover the entire outside with french toastiness.

999, it depends on which part of england your from. But that sounds like a wimps breakfast. Us hard northerners "fryup" consists of literally anything left if the fridge (eggs, bacon, sausages, ham, peas, onions), chucked into a frying pan with huge amounts of oil, and then served with some fried bread, caked in fat. Lovely.

Maybe thats why im tipping the scales at 20stone.

Burp.

John

I'm eating one for breakfast, as soon as I get a recipe. Anyone have a good one? No onions please

The jedi mind trick doesn't work on blondes, redheads or brunettes.
