Day 6:
Ants fly over, carrying huge bombs to the designated area, only a couple of thousand ant-feet away from you. While walking through the tall grass and flowers, one of your fellow soldiers falls on the floor. exhausted and with no water left, this soldier is the first to be caught by death's cold hands. Coughing and crying the soldier falls into a deep coma. Two of your men pick him up and carry him on, as the long walk home continues. Minutes go by, feeling like hours, with stone-cold silence, until then. "It's a trap!", shouts one of your men. You dive behind a large rock, followed by your men. laying down the wounded, you quickly grab your slingshots, load, and fire at the enemy. the first line gets quickly shot down by your skilled soldiers, but while reloading the second wave attacks and shoot down several men of your team. Knowing you will not be able to hold them back forever, and keeping in mind that the general will bomb this place anytime soon, you quickly think of a plan. Calling back your men, the enemy's troops hold back too, probably to resupply the assaulting wave and to get the wounded of the ground. You quickly discuss the plan with your team, and order them to find a couple of large sticks while not being seen by the enemy. only two minutes later your men return and have exactly what you need. After positioning the wooden sticks as you though up, you order your men to attack the enemy, while staying as much behind the large rock as they could. Small rocks pierce through the sky, breaking god-knows what while the opposite's team falls down, shouting with pain clearly viewable in their eyes. The enemy now decides to quickly move forward, hoping that you have not thought of this. while all the remaining groups attack, you order your men back to stay behind the large rock. The enemy know is as close to you, that you can almost taste their breaths. Now it is time. You order your men, as part of your plan, to shoot down a rain of bullet-shaped rocks, while you use the planks to roll down the large rock. Your enemy gets squashed by the large rock, as they try to run away from the sudden counter-attack.
After helping out the wounded of your team, you quickly return to your quest to leave this doomed land. Back to civilization. Back to life.
