Recently we added a new tutorial to Edgelib.com covering the optimization of Edge-powered games to help developers squeeze some extra performance out of their games. The tutorial, splitted in two pages, gives lots of hints and tricks for both optimizing performance and memory usage.
Easy to use hints about optimized blitlets, opacity values and surface sizes are given, as well as more advanced techniques, such as caching and implementing detail leveling in a game. The second page gives details on decreasing executable file size and memory consumption.
