IMEI for Symbian 9.1

Hi Edge,

For Symbian 9.1 devices, I got the IMEI "123456789012345" and the pattern for the old version is "123456-78-901234-5", is it a new change?

Hi Patrick,

The dashes in the IMEI code only appear on Series 80, UIQ devices before 3.0 and Series 60 devices before third edition.

We recommend removing the dashes because using *#06# on the device will show the IMEI code without dashes, and the location of the dashes are subject to change.

In the upcoming Edge release the function will return the IMEI with no dashes on all devices. The dashes will be obtained using an additional parameter.
