screen orientation pb on Nokia N95 8Gb

screen orientation pb on Nokia N95 8Gb

Postby vince_mad » Dec 26, 2007 @ 5:44pm

Hi guys,

I have a display orientation problem with the Nokia N95 8gb.
When launched on the N95 8Gb the screen orientation switches to landscape. So it displays only the 240 upper pixels of my image, making the game unplayable.

I set config->orientation to ROT_NONE.
I don't have this problem on the "normal" N95.

Any idea?
Thanks in advance.

Vincent.

Hi Vincent,

That's odd. Can you tell me which version of EDGELIB are you using? Also, what happens if you use DOR_PORTRAIT, DOR_LANDSCAPE or DOR_AUTO? When using DOR_AUTO, what happens if you change the slider to switch between landscape and portrait?

Hi Edge,
happy new year!

I'm using Edge 3.00.
I haven't tested any of the other values you mention.
I don't have a N95 8Gb at hand, so I can't test easily.
Thanks for your answer, I'll keep you informed.

Hi Vincent,

We've fixed a lot of orientation related bugs in the new EDGELIB releases. We recommend downloading the latest 3.40 version to fix these issues.
