Playing other levels with a registered WAD file?

Playing other levels with a registered WAD file?

Postby Andy T » Feb 21, 2001 @ 9:12pm

Hey Dan, awsome job on the port. Why can't I play other levels or "Episodes" if I'm using my own registered wad file. It's uncompressed and sitting on my CF card, with all the necessary files. It plays fine on the first level, but says to contact id for registration at the other "doors". Thanks again for the best PPC game!
Maybe you don't have a registered version. The PAK file should be around 48 MB if it's registered, as I recall (from somewhere).

Actually, the Registered Pak1.pak file is only 15 megs when gzipped. You only need to keep the pak0.pak file unGzipped if you want to load the general engine faster.

I've been playing the Registered Wads since the first Alpha, and have to say, it's one awesome game :)

You Casio owners might want to take a look at the thread.

Many Thanks again to Dan, Jacco and Carpediem.
