Grey is an alternative spelling of gray, tehre were many people with a last name of Grey though, I'm sure some Grays. Sir Edward, Lady Jane, and Charles are all Greys. Thomas Gray was also a british poet. So Both CAN BE names, but both are also different spellings of the color inbetween Black and White on a grayscale chart.
