Hey Ken:

Make sure your config.cfg file is present. That's where your changes are stored when done thru the menu system.

The autoexec.cfg file is also another place you can store your settings.

If you would like to start off in Portrait mode upon starting PocketQuake, change the following line in your Autoexec.cfg file with Notepad, or any text editor:

vid_mode "1"

change that to

vid_mode "0"

Because Landscape was only fully functional in this latest version, it starts up in landscape to introduce players to it right off the bat, as it was a highly requested feature.

Since you are also using autoexec.cfg, any bindings in that config will override the config.cfg. If you want to set your controls via the Options menu then remove the keybindings from autoexec.cfg.

> Parts of the Ipaq menu pop through the Quake graphics

That has been fixed already for version 0.06.

>during the game it sometimes intermittently exits the game.

That would represent a true bug. You don't get an exception? Does the ending credits screen appear, or does Pocket Quake just totally disappear without any messages at all?

Dan East

When it exits, ther are no credits, it just disappears. If you check for running programs, it's no there either. That's all the info I have. Thanks for the other tips.
