Well, Casio E125 owners have something to look forward to, it seems that the Atari has been successfully emulated for MIPS.

You can download it .

For fellow ARM users out there, the Source is also posted, so there's still hope yet ;)

Last modification: 999 - 03/24/01 at 12:12:51

I tried downloading the source but the file appears to be truncated. I've already emailed the author.

Dan East

Dan,

Carpediem has ported this to ARM :)

I'm playing Pitfall right now, but it appears there are still issues with the main emu core. I'm walking thru walls, and Carp can do the same on his MIPS.

Carp, can you post your source?

It says that the walking through walls is a known bug because of the frame skipping. But shouldn't this be in a different board? 999, you're a moderator, I'm ashamed :o ):( ???
Last modification: Moose Master - 03/24/01 at 15:39:54

You mean he built an ARM version. That is a far cry from porting a piece of software to a different platform.

Dan East

Where do you get the sofware to run on emulators? I dload 'em, and cant find ANY software! Isn't Atari out of business anyway, they have no copywrites?

You'll just have to search around. Quite a while ago I found a site with a single zip supposedly containing every 2600 game known (504 ROMS in that file). The majority of ROMS are only 4 or 8 kb in size. You can store them all uncompressed in 2.8 MB.

Dan East
