iPaq 3135

I was just wondering if this thing would work on my iPaq 3135, It has 16mb of ram and I have a 64mb CF card, I know I've had trouble cause it was black and white before.<br>SOMEONE PLEASE HELP! I'm dying to play ;-)<br><br>DJFarhada

I forgot to mention that I have loaded it and get an Fatal Application Error<br>Exception: 0x80000002<br>Address: 0069b60

Currently Pocket Quake's Game API code only works on devices whose screen depth is 8 bits per pixel or more. It will also only work with 555 and 565 RGB encoding. The iPaq 3135 must differ in one of those areas.<br><br>Dan East

The iPAQ 31xx series only has a 16 grayscale (4-bit) display. On the same note tje 36xx series only has a 12-bit display. Since PocketQuake only supports RGB 565 & 555 does that mean the 12-bit display dithers 16-bit color?

yes, from what I've been told, the ipaq automatically dithers 16-bit color for it's native 12-bit screen.
