The Imageon chip in the e800 is only 2d acceleration (or in it's case, deceleration) I believe? Doesn't support DX Mobile or OpenGL ES.

The GAPI problem seems to be universal due to WM2003 SE, there are a bunch of posts about picard's tweak that speeds back up GAPI apps.

Probably have some of the details wrong-- I don't own a VGA device.
