I read somewhere else on the board that a guy was porting it. He asked for the source, he got it, and I can only assume he is working on it.

I am indeed, but i'm afraid there's a bit more to it then thought at first..

i'll persevere though :-)

(oh, and thanks for the source, it was very usefull understanding the rendering subsystem)

hey all you ipaq users, get jimmy software overclock. It boosts it to 236 Mhz, and it works fine, I have had my ipaq running it for months (since i got it for x-mas). It adds a couple fps to it. Small download too! 9kb

So far I've seen that same message cut and paste two different places now. You can quit doing that, you know.

First of all, it's not a PocketPC. It runs an x86 processor with WindowsXP. Second of all, laptops with full sized keyboards, 15" screens, and Nvidia Geforce GO graphics accelerators are less expensive than that. Third, we've all known about that for quite a long while now.

[EDIT] Now I've seen it three times.

OK, I'm not a programming guru, but Delta Force or Comanche 1-3 would work well on PocketPC. They use Voxel technology and, therefore, doesn't require many polygons, which PocketPCs are not good at dealing with. If the source codes are released (I hope they are), it would be quite easy to port them over.

Check out Chopper Alley. It's a helicopter sim game that uses voxel technology ... and it runs very slowly.
