The GAPI, the GAPI! Won't someone please think of the GAPI!

Quake uses GAPI. Hence it requires, you guessed it, GAPI.

Yes and when something requires a GAPI that usually means one of its dependencies is the GAPI, just like how after work your dependencies are BEER and/or VODKA.
God bless booze!

Perhaps you've just identified one of your more obvious problems.

Hi there everyone!

I've recently got myself an used NEC780. Neat stuff - I use it mainly to write translations, but - of course - I'd like to play a bit Doom. And what do I find? That NEC is probably the only HPC Pro device on this planet that fails to run HPC Doom :/.

Couple of people from local forum () would also like to play HPC Doom on theirs NECs.

As I'm not the guy, who "wants it all done, and want it now" - I offer my NEC780 as a testplatform to help create a version of HPC Doom that works fine on MobilePro. Just please mail me - stasheck (at) gmail.com

Anyway - as for now, Doom (and Quake also) just shows a pretty horizontal line on top of the screen, and ends eating up memory slowly (about 1 kB/s). Nothing more happens (till it eat all the memory, of course).
