PocketMatrix probably is the first place I've ever seen where people act less mature as they grow older. I remember this quote, and although some guys here took it to the extreme, I still find it to be very true:

"People do not stop playing because they grow older; people grow older because they stop playing."

I was an almost-daily visitor of PocketMatrix, even when it wasn't as active, but recently I've become less and less interested in the community. I was really amazed by how blunt some people are here in topic, by Chuck. I mean, it's ok if you don't like my way of photography, and I really can stand feedback, both positive and negative, but somehow his' really hit me. That's also when I tossed out my sig, avatar and general interest in helping people here. Maybe I'm just being over-sensitive here, I really don't know.

Maybe it's just ment to be, and pocketmatrix is supposed to go away right about when Pocket PC's are semi-dead (or sleeping indefinitely, whatever you want to call it). I don't know... I don't like it though, it always was a fun place to read, talk, relax and have fun.

Hahahaha, as I recall, your 'style' of photography were some blurry, over-exposed, badly composed photographs that supposedly displayed how a camera took good crisp photographs.

That said, I didn't mean it to be offensive; instead, I meant for him not to be steered away from a camera because of lackluster pictures. I'm sure you can take great pictures when you want, but the ones I saw weren't all that interesting. If you'd like, I'll show you some of my photographs, and you can insult them to sooth your burns.

And really, if you post your 'artwork' on the net, you'd better be ready and willing to hear some negative reviews. Grow up.

I don't care at all what happened at E3. It's just a marketing gimmick -- which a lot of you lap right up. It's fascinating that people pay to be subjected to advertising.

The content of E3 is the least interesting part about the event. If you worked in the industry, it'd be a good place to catch up with ex-coworkers or whatever. I can understand that appeal (and your employer might even give a free E3-vacation). Similarly, the only reason I'd ever go to E3 is to meet-up with friends.

The booth-babe thing just kind of weirds me out. I don't know if E3 still has booth-babes, but that always gave the event a creepy comic book convention aura. Probably because it attracted the same people. Being around people like that would be worse than the advertising mind-fuck. I'm guessing the Nintendo fanboys retire to their hotel rooms at night to jerkoff to Dragon Ball Z episodes in solitary, so the night-life should be unaffected.

They need to start holding E3 in Vegas. Of course, Nintendo's influence probably makes Manila a more likely location. We all know how Nintendo executives just can't keep their Wii's away from those Philippine boys.

At E3? I seen plenty of Booth-babes from videos on the net and from TV, we are talking about the ones dressed up as scantily clad female game characters right? E3 would be kinda boring without them I'd think, who doesent want to see half naked ladies in rediculous outfits. Its no more different than the eye candy on a PS3 game, such as the rhino featured
